"Mama bear" sized and perfect for my needs
This not-too-big, not-too-small sized desk calendar is perfect for my needs. I buy a new desk calendar each November and use it to track my family's various ortho and dental visits, chorus practices, ---ball practices/games, days with their dad vs. their days with me, work schedules, school half days, weeks scheduled for camp, various birthdays, anniversaries, etc. We're not a big family but we generate an amazing amount of dates that have to be remembered. Without my trusty desk calendar, I'd be lost.
Even so, I don't want a huge thing occupying my desk. I don't want an ugly desk calendar. I do, however, want one that is cheery and striking and comes complete with all the dates for all the smaller holidays, the ones I can't ever remember.
This calendar fills all my requirements and then some. Additionally, the gorgeous pictures will, I know, offer a tiny 'mind vacation' when I take a moment to admire them as the year progresses. I know this cuz I've already got dates scattered into my new 2006 Moons calendar.
Let's see, I'll be getting my teeth cleaned in February. My daughter is graduating in January and going to Europe in May. My son is already scheduled for camp the last two weeks in July...

Very nice, practical calendar.
The weekly format, has nice big boxes for appointments. The moon photos are beautiful. I really like the fact that it has most every holiday I've ever heard of, including EID, the Solistices and Equinoxes, and the Jewish holidays. A great buy.
